For the first time in its history, the Tour de France, the most important cycling race globally and one of the most-watched sporting events worldwide, will start from Italy. The Italian Grand Départ will consist of three stages that will take the cyclists through the roads of Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, and Piedmont, before reaching France. The first of these three stages will begin on June 29th from Florence, which will be the starting city for the entire Tour de France. The 2024 edition will be special for the “Grande Boucle,” as it will not conclude in Paris but in Nice
